Our Apprentice of the Month Award is an opportunity for the spotlight to shine on one of our current apprentices who has worked hard, accomplished, applied themselves or has achieved something fantastic whilst on programme. This is an opportunity to celebrate apprenticeships and their value, not only for the learner but also for the employer and the business they work within. In order to be awarded Apprentice of the Month, learners can be nominated by their TDM coach, other TDM members of staff who have come into contact with the apprentice and also from their mentor, employer or colleagues they work along side.

Our Apprentice of the Month Award for March goes to Sam Clayton, Digital Support Technician Level 3 Apprentice at Dolphin Computer Access. Sam's nomination came from his employers at Dolphin.

Apprentice of the Month – March

Having navigated a change of employer mid-way through his Apprenticeship, Sam has developed well since joining the team at Dolphin, with Chief Operating Officer Rachel saying the following: 'Sam is a hardworking and dedicated apprentice, delivering great results as an active member of our Technical Support team at Dolphin. He has developed superb knowledge of our assistive technology and is always willing to go that extra mile.

Sam completes every task on time and to a high standard but it is not just myself and his colleagues he has impressed! We have recently received this glowing feedback from a customer about Sam - “This guy is amazing and so helpful with clearly a vast knowledge of your products. Sam fixed my issues and gave my PC a quick once over to check everything was up to date. I cannot thank him enough, he is a credit to Dolphin without a doubt".

Congratulations Sam, this kind of feedback from multiple stakeholders highlights how well you're doing and makes you a worthy winner of our award for this month!

Sam is also currently not far off EPA, so we wish him the best of luck!
