Apprentice of the Month - January 2024

Our Apprentice of the Month Award is an opportunity for the spotlight to shine on one of our current apprentices who has worked hard, accomplished, applied themselves or has achieved something fantastic whilst on programme. This is an opportunity to celebrate apprenticeships and their value, not only for the learner but also for the employer and the business they work within. In order to be awarded Apprentice of the Month, learners can be nominated by their TDM coach, other TDM members of staff who have come into contact with the apprentice and also from their mentor, employer or colleagues they work along side.

Our Apprentice of the Month Award for January goes to Joshua Harvey, Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprentice at Meta Eagle. Josh's nomination came from his coach Melanie.

Apprentice of the Month – January

Josh works in IT support within Meta Eagle under the brilliant mentorship of Lee Robinson and previous apprentice Ben. Josh has taken on higher level responsibilities and grown massively in his time at Meta Eagle and on the apprenticeship. He now helps design systems internally, takes on new clients independently, carries out key tasks such as server builds and is an asset to the business.

Josh has taken a proactive approach to the apprenticeship and takes full responsibility for his own learning and development. He responds brilliantly to learning objectives from his Skills Coach Neil and Professional Development Coach Melanie and is now pressing on towards end point assessment.

Josh is a great example of a future leader within the IT industry.
